WELCOME TO BUCKEYE BOAT RENTAL
In 2020 shortly after COVID, Don was diagnosed with AML Leukemia, and we were forced to make some family altering decisions. After Don underwent a stem cell transplant, we sold our home in Chicago, our summer home in Michigan and our boat to help with medical expenses. We then moved to NC where Brandee accepted a job so Don could take the time to recover.
But our love for water never went away and it was our time on the boat and near water that gave our family hope and Don the incentive to keep fighting. They say, “God always gives us what we need” and meeting Brooke and Travis (previous owners of Buckeye Boat Rental) was exactly that.
Our family was given the opportunity to purchase this business where we could spend time doing what we love and meeting wonderful people along the way. Whether you want to enjoy the lake for fun and serenity, we would love to help provide these memories for you.
