What is the cancellation/weather policy?

  • If inclement weather occurs, we will contact you to cancel or reschedule your reservation without penalty.  Otherwise, you must give a 72-hour notice of cancellation.  If a notice comes in less than 72 hours before the start of your rental, we reserve the right to charge you up to the full amount of the full rental rate.  Please review the rental agreement at booking.

  • Please show up 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.  If you arrive after your on-water start time, you are considered a no show–and your rental fee will not be refunded.

What happens if there is a thunderstorm during my rental?

We want all participants to remain safe.  If inclement weather starts during your rental, you must return to the dock immediately or seek the nearest safe shelter.  We can issue a refund or a credit for a future booking for the time missed.

What is the minimum age to rent or drive?

The minimum age to enter into a rental agreement is 25 years old.

Do you charge for fuel?

  • Yes.  A $300.00 hold will be placed on your credit card upon arrival. 

  • We charge $40 per 1/4 quarter tank of fuel used to refill the boat at the end of the rental agreement. 

  • The boat will be issued to you with a full tank of fuel before departure.

When will I receive my security deposit refund?

  • After fuel charges are expensed, we will release the hold and refund back any monies that were not used pending the boat returns without damages within 72 hours. 

  • Participants are encouraged to walk around the boat before and after their rental period to acknowledge any damages previous or post rental time.

Do I have to bring my own life jacket?

  • Any participates that are under 50 lbs., please bring your own life jacket. 

  • Everyone above 50 lbs., we will have life jackets for you. 

  • All participants under the age of 13 are required to wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat. 

  • We recommend that everyone wear a life jacket while swimming in the lake.

What should I bring?

  • Bring your towels, sunscreen, cell phones, coolers for food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. 

  • You are responsible for your own items. 

  • Please keep in mind that drinking and driving laws apply while operating a boat on the lake. 

  • We ask that you remove all personal belongings and trash upon rental return. Excessive cleaning and trash left on board may incur a cleaning fee.

Can I beach the boat to access the islands?

No.  Beaching or intentionally pulling a boat onto a shoreline risks damaging the boat propeller, toons and other boat equipment. 

  • Any boat rental that returns with evidence of beaching will be charged damages accordingly.

  • Renters are responsible for any damages incurred to boat equipment.

  • Anchors are provided so participants can reach the shoreline safely.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no pets!

I am getting waivers in my email, do I have to sign them?

Yes!  Please read and familiarize yourself with our Cancellation/ Fuel Policies and also our Liability Waiver of Claims. 

  • There are two documents that must be electronically signed. 

  • Your rental agreement will not be considered complete if waivers are not acknowledged.
